Rod Saver Double Strap Rod Holder Set

This set includes an 8-inch strap for the handle end and a 6-inch strap for the tips, designed to secure fishing rods during transport or storage. It accommodates up to four rods simultaneously and comes with stainless steel mounting hardware for installation. The black metal construction suits unisex use for anglers needing organised rod management on boats or vehicles.

Thermals Noise and Power Draw

As a passive mechanical accessory with no electrical components, this rod holder produces no heat, generates no operational noise and draws zero power. Performance depends entirely on the mounting surface and correct strap tension rather than thermal or electrical limits.

Secure Mounting Hardware Included

The supplied stainless steel mounting hardware is the critical specification determining whether the holder can be fastened to your specific boat gunwale, rail or vehicle rack. Buyers without a compatible flat or curved drilling surface for the supplied screws cannot install this set.

Questions about this item

How do I install the stainless steel mounting hardware so the 8-inch and 6-inch straps hold the rod handle and tip correctly?

Mount the included stainless steel hardware on the gunwale or rail, position the 8-inch strap at the reel seat and the 6-inch strap near the tip, then cinch both double straps tight so the rod cannot pivot.

What maintenance will the metal straps and stainless steel hardware need after repeated saltwater exposure?

Rinse the metal straps and stainless steel hardware with fresh water after every trip, inspect for corrosion or loose fasteners, and replace any strap that shows fraying or buckle damage.

How many rods can the set hold securely before the straps or mounts become the limiting factor?

The set is rated for up to four rods; exceeding that load stresses the double straps and stainless steel mounts beyond their design capacity.
