40-Pack Bite Alarm Kit

This set supplies forty clip-on bite alarms built from ABS plastic and aluminium. Each unit mounts on a rod tip with a spring-loaded clamp that stays secure while playing a fish. The green LED and twin bells give a combined visual and audible signal, making the kit suitable for anglers who run multiple rods at night or in low light.

Sustained All-Night Operation

The alarms run on two included LR41 button cells per unit, delivering steady illumination and bell tone through long sessions without a brightness drop-off. Cold or warm conditions do not affect the mechanical bell action or the LED output. The simple on-off twist mechanism avoids accidental activation while rods are stored or transported.

Lightweight Clip-On Profile

At 70 mm long the housing adds minimal mass to the rod tip, preserving casting feel and bite sensitivity. The ABS shell resists splashes and minor impacts, while the aluminium clamp jaws grip without marring the blank. No external wiring or bulky battery packs are required, keeping the rig clean and quiet in normal use.

Questions about this item

How long do the two LR41 button batteries last when the green LED is glowing all night?

The included LR41 cells power the green LED through typical overnight sessions; actual run-time varies with temperature and battery age.

Does the clamp fit my rod tip without extra adapters or tools?

The spring-loaded clamp opens wide enough for standard rod tips and snaps on in seconds with no tools required.

Will the 70 mm aluminium-and-ABS body weigh down a light ice-fishing rod?

At 70 mm long the compact alloy-and-plastic housing adds minimal mass so tip action stays responsive.
