50mm f/1.2 Manual Focus Prime

The Rokinon RK50M-E is a fixed-focal-length lens built for Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras. Its bright f/1.2 maximum aperture and 50mm focal length suit photographers who want shallow depth of field and precise manual focus control for portrait and low-light work.

Verify Mount and Focus Preference

Confirm your camera uses the Sony E mount before ordering. This lens has no autofocus motor, so it requires a body that can operate manual lenses and provide focus-peaking or magnification aids for accurate focusing.

Manual Lens in a Mirrorless Kit

The 62mm non-rotating filter thread accepts circular polarisers and ND filters without turning the hood. Internal focusing keeps the lens length constant, while the removable hood and included pouch protect the front element during transport. The nine-blade diaphragm produces smooth bokeh at wide apertures.

Questions about this item

What accessories come in the box and what must I buy separately?

The box includes the lens, front and rear caps, a removable hood, a lens pouch and an instructional manual. Filters for the 62 mm thread are sold separately.

How do I decide between the available versions or capacities of this lens?

This model is offered in a single 50 mm f/1.2 configuration for Sony E mount, so there are no alternate focal lengths or maximum apertures to choose from.

What does the 50 mm focal length mean on my Sony E-mount camera?

On an APS-C Sony E-mount body the 50 mm lens gives a 75 mm equivalent field of view, making it a short telephoto suited to portraits.
