Professional Light Diffusion

The Rosco Cinegel Light Opal Tough Frost is a 20x24 inch sheet designed to soften light sources for photography and videography. It reduces harsh shadows while preserving the original beam shape for precise control. This material suits professionals seeking consistent, flattering illumination across diverse projects.

Heat-Resistant Durability

Crafted from robust materials, the sheet withstands sustained heat from continuous lighting fixtures without degrading. Its tough construction supports repeated handling and long production schedules. The diffuser maintains structural integrity and optical performance under demanding studio conditions.

Standard Fixture Compatibility

The 20 by 24 inch dimensions fit most standard light fixtures used in professional environments. Rosco also supplies the same material in 48 by 25 foot rolls for larger installations. Users requiring continuous expanses beyond a single sheet should consider the roll format.

What mounting hardware or frames do I already need to hold a 20x24" diffusion sheet in place?

The sheet fits most standard light fixtures and can be clipped into common gel frames or taped directly to barn doors.

Will the Light Opal Tough Frost change the colour balance of my older tungsten or HMI fixtures?

It maintains accurate colour temperature, so legacy tungsten and HMI sources keep their native look without unwanted casts.
