Vintage Globe String Lights

These 21-foot battery operated string lights feature 60 warm white LED globes spaced 3.9 inches apart along a blue wire. The shatterproof plastic globes measure 0.73 inches in diameter and are rated IPX4 waterproof for indoor or outdoor use. They suit anyone wanting flexible ambient lighting without a mains socket.

Remote and Timer Functions

A multi-function remote controls eight lighting modes, four brightness levels and a six-hour timer that automatically cycles 18 hours off to extend battery life. The lights run on three AA batteries (not included), so placement is unrestricted by power outlets. No app or smart-home integration is provided.

Simple Setup with Battery Access

Installation requires only inserting batteries and hanging the flexible string using the built-in loops or clips. The globes stay cool during extended operation, reducing heat concerns on fabrics or foliage. Buyers who need longer runs than 21 feet or permanent wired installations should consider alternative products.

Questions about this item

How often will the 3 AA batteries need replacing when the 6-hour timer runs daily?

The timer keeps the 60 LEDs on for 6 hours then off for 18 hours, so a fresh set of 3 AA cells typically lasts several days before needing replacement.

What component reaches its limit first if the string stays lit continuously instead of using the timer?

Continuous operation drains the 3 AA battery pack fastest; the LEDs themselves are rated for long life and stay cool during extended use.

Do the globes or the battery box get warm after the lights have been on all day?

The manufacturer highlights note the LEDs stay cool after many hours, and the IPX4-rated plastic globes do not generate noticeable heat.
