Product scope

The Rosewill T-100 is a 100-foot RGB LED strip light kit supplied as two 50-foot rolls. It draws 36 watts at 24 volts and contains 480 individual LEDs. The corded-electric set is intended for indoor decorative use such as bedrooms, ceilings or party settings.

Fit and limits

Buyers who want music-reactive colour changes, remote or app control, dimming and timer functions will find those features included. The strip is not waterproof and the supplier advises against use in humid environments, so outdoor or bathroom installations are unsuitable. It must be cut only on the marked cutting lines and cannot be extended beyond the supplied length.

Deciding spec

The working voltage range is 100 to 240 volts AC input with a 24-volt DC output, so the included power adapter determines whether the kit matches your local mains supply.

Questions about this item

What surface preparation does the adhesive backing need for the 100 ft strip?

Mount on a clean, dry surface only; moisture or dust will prevent the adhesive from holding the 100 ft length.

Which step in the app pairing process is most often missed?

Put the controller into pairing mode before opening the app, otherwise the 24 V RGB strips will not appear in the device list.

When should the 100 ft kit be cut, and where?

Cut only on the marked cutting line; trimming elsewhere can short the 36 W circuit and disable the affected section.
