Royal 22-8 Tape Dispenser

The Royal 22-8 is a manual handheld tape gun designed for sealing cartons with 50-millimetre-wide rolls. Its iron frame and riveted construction target packers who need a durable tool for repetitive shipping tasks.

Thermals Noise Power

Manual operation means no motor, no fan and no electrical draw; the only resistance comes from the tape tension and the friction of the cutting blade. The matte black finish on the iron body does not affect heat because the device generates none during use.

Extra Blade And Core Fit

A spare stainless-steel blade is supplied so the cutter stays sharp through high-volume work without pausing for replacements. The 50-millimetre core holder accepts standard rolls, but tape itself is not included, so buyers needing immediate sealing must source rolls separately.

Questions about this item

How do I load a new roll onto the 50 mm core of this dispenser?

Pull the tension lever back, slide the roll onto the spindle so the tape unwinds from the bottom, then release the lever to lock it in place.

Which part will need replacing first during heavy daily use?

The stainless-steel cutting blade dulls before the iron frame wears; a spare blade is included in the box for quick swap.

What limits continuous sealing sessions with the Royal 22-8?

The manual feed relies on hand pressure, so operator fatigue becomes the practical limit during long packaging runs.
