3-Inch Wide Packing Tape

Royal 22-8 packing tape measures three inches wide by fifty-five yards long with a two-point-four mil thickness. The clear BOPP film uses an acrylic adhesive that resists moisture and temperature changes. A metal dispenser is included for manual application. The roll fits standard three-inch core dispensers and tape guns.

Practical Limits of Standard Core Dispensers

The roll requires a three-inch inner diameter core to fit standard dispensers and tape guns. Width is fixed at three inches so it cannot be used with narrower applicators. Adhesion performance depends on surface cleanliness and ambient conditions. The tape is designed for manual operation only.

Upgrades from Narrower or Thinner Tapes

This roll replaces one-inch or two-inch tapes when wider coverage reduces the number of passes needed to seal a carton. The two-point-four mil thickness upgrades from lighter films that may split or tear under heavy loads. The value pack supplies three rolls totalling one hundred sixty-five yards for high-volume shipping. Buyers who need a different core size or automated case sealing should look elsewhere.
