Silent Sealing for Shipping

This Royal 22-8 tape is a noiseless packing solution supplied as a two-pack with a dispenser. Each roll measures 2.7mil thick by 1.88 inches wide and 55 yards long. The BOPP plus acrylic construction delivers a clear, matte finish suited to office, home removal and storage tasks.

Replaces Noisy Standard Tape

Ordinary packing tape creates loud unwinding sounds that disturb quiet environments. This silent alternative is worth the switch when packaging in shared offices, residential areas or late-night shipping sessions. The dispenser-ready format also eliminates the hassle of hunting for a separate gun.

Consistent Adhesion Over Long Runs

The 2.7mil thickness maintains strong hold on cardboard and cartons across the full 55-yard length. Acrylic adhesive resists splitting or peeling during continuous application, so the seal stays intact from the first box to the last. The matte surface remains easy to handle without slipping.

Questions about this item

What width and core size does the 1.88" roll need to fit a dispenser?

The roll is 1.88 inches wide and fits any standard tape dispenser or tape gun designed for that width.

How do you load the roll into the included dispenser without the tape splitting?

Place the roll so the adhesive side faces down, thread the tape through the guide slot, and pull smoothly — the BOPP + Acrylic construction resists splitting during application.

When will the 55-yard roll need replacing and what should you buy?

Each 55-yard roll lasts through many cartons; when empty, replace it with another 2.7 mil, 1.88-inch wide BOPP + Acrylic clear packing tape.
