Retail cash register

The Royal 7000ML is a black cash register designed for retail and hospitality environments that need reliable transaction processing. It connects via a serial interface and supports up to 40 clerk IDs for multi-user operation. The unit includes a lockable cash drawer and ships with an operator manual, drawer keys, journal roller and a paper roll.

Dual thermal printers and expandable coin tray

Two alphanumeric thermal printers handle receipts and journal records without ink ribbons. A five-slot removable coin tray can be expanded for additional denominations, while a four-slot bill tray accommodates both U.S. and Canadian currency. A scrolling message feature and a one-line customer display keep shoppers informed at the point of sale.

200 departments and 10,000 price look-ups

The system manages 200 departments and stores up to 10,000 price look-ups for fast item entry. Four automatic tax computations and memory protection safeguard totals during power interruptions. An electronic running journal report and a 10-line backlit LCD user display provide detailed transaction oversight, while an SD card slot offers a path for data backup.

Questions about this item

How often will the thermal paper rolls for the dual printers need replacing?

The dual alphanumeric thermal printers use standard paper rolls; replacement frequency depends on transaction volume and the journal roller is included for the electronic running journal report.

Which component reaches its limit first during continuous operation?

The 10,000 price look-up capacity and 200 department limit are the fixed software ceilings that define the register's scaling boundary.

How much heat or noise does the Alpha 7000ML produce when left running all day?

The unit has no active cooling fans; heat output is low from the thermal printers and serial interface, and operating noise is limited to print mechanism sound.
