Royal 260MX Cross-Cut Shredder

The Royal 260MX is a non-continuous cross-cut shredder built for office environments. It accepts paper, CDs, DVDs, credit cards and staples through an 8.75" throat. A 745.70 W motor drives the cutting mechanism. The unit includes a pull-out bin on casters for easy waste removal.

20 Sheets Per Pass Cross-Cut Capacity

The decisive specification is the 20-sheet cross-cut capacity per pass, producing particles measuring 0.156" x 1.125". This throughput determines whether the machine matches your daily document volume. Auto start/stop, jam stop and an interlock switch manage the feed process. Thermal protection shuts the motor down if it overheats.

One-Hour Run Time With 8.50-Gallon Bin

The shredder runs for a maximum of 1 hour before a mandatory 40-minute cool-down period. The 8.50-gallon wastebin holds the output from extended sessions. Noise at no load measures 63 dB. Buyers who need continuous operation or a larger throat width should consider other models.
