Verify 18-inch rim diameter

Confirm that your vehicle requires a 245/40R18 size with an 18-inch rim diameter and 245 mm section width. Check that the 97 load index and XL load range meet or exceed the manufacturer's specification for your car. Ensure the 25.7-inch overall diameter maintains correct speedometer calibration and clearance.

Tire-only purchase means no rim

The package contains the tire only; the rim shown in images is for display and is not supplied. No mounting hardware, valves, or balancing weights are included, so arrange professional installation separately. The UTQG 420AA rating indicates treadwear 420 and traction grade A for reference.

Questions about this item

Does the tyre come with a wheel or do I need to buy the 18-inch rim separately?

The listing states the rim is not included; images showing a wheel are for display only and you receive the tyre alone.

How do I know the 245/40R18 97W XL size fits my car instead of another width or load range?

Match the 245 mm section width, 40 aspect ratio, 18-inch rim diameter, load index 97 and XL load range to the vehicle placard or owner manual.

What does the 420AA UTQG code tell me about everyday wear and wet grip?

Treadwear 420 indicates expected mileage relative to a reference tyre, while traction AA and temperature A show strong wet braking and heat resistance.
