Vehicle fit and purpose

The Royal Black Racing Trac is a high-performance all-season tyre sized 245/45R19 for SUVs and light trucks. It carries a 102 load index and a W speed rating approved for up to 168 mph. The XL rating supports heavier vehicle loads.

Upgrade considerations

This tyre replaces worn original-equipment rubber when the driver wants year-round traction with a 420 treadwear rating and AA traction grade. The jump is worth it if the current tyres lack the M+S rating or have a lower speed capability.

Installation notes

Mounting requires a 19 inch rim; the rim is not included in the purchase. The 7/32 inch tread depth is ready for immediate use. Common issues include forgetting to reset the TPMS after fitting and skipping a wheel balance, which causes vibration.
