Touring All-Season Tire for Passenger Cars

The Royal Black Touring HP is a touring all-season tire built for passenger cars, SUVs and CUVs. It carries a 215/65R15 size with a 96 load index and H speed rating. The XL load range supports heavier vehicle loads while the 560AA UTQG rating indicates strong treadwear and wet traction. Black sidewall styling completes the look.

Replaces Worn Original-Equipment Touring Tires

This tire replaces factory-fitted touring tires that have reached the legal tread-depth limit or show uneven wear. The upgrade is worth it when the original set no longer provides confident wet grip or produces excessive road noise. Drivers who need a higher load capacity than a standard-load tire offers will benefit from the XL rating.

Limits of the H Speed Rating and 15-Inch Fitment

The H rating caps sustained speed at 130 mph, so vehicles regularly driven faster need a higher-rated tire. The 15-inch rim diameter restricts fitment to wheels of that exact size; larger or smaller wheels cannot accept this tire. Run-flat capability is not included, meaning a puncture requires immediate repair or replacement.

Questions about this item

Will the 215/65R15 size fit my 15-inch rim?

Yes, the tyre is built for a 15-inch diameter rim and the 215 mm section width matches that wheel width range.

What is the correct mounting direction for the black sidewall?

The BSW marking means the black sidewall faces outward; mount the tyre so the lettering is visible once the wheel is on the vehicle.

When should I replace the tyre based on the 7/32-inch tread depth?

Replace when tread wears down to 2/32 inch; the original 7/32 inch gives roughly 5/32 inch of usable depth before the legal minimum.
