Heavy-Duty Carton Sealing

This clear packing tape uses 2.4 mil biaxially oriented polypropylene with strong acrylic adhesive for reliable box sealing. Each roll measures 1.88 inches by 66 yards and is designed for shipping, moving, and long-term storage. The tape resists yellowing and keeps barcodes readable over time. Two rolls and two dispensers are included for immediate use.

Smooth Unwind and Clean Application

The manual dispensers feature a small rolling shaft that prevents the tape from falling back during use. BOPP construction eliminates silvering and splitting while unwinding smoothly. High edge-tear resistance supports boxes weighing up to 80 pounds. Adhesive bonds firmly to smooth and textured cardboard in hot or cold conditions.

Upgrade from Standard Household Tape

This kit replaces thinner tapes that split, curl, or lose adhesion on heavy cartons. The jump is worth it when sealing large volumes of boxes for moving or commercial shipping. It is not suited for buyers who need filament-reinforced strapping tape or water-activated paper tape for maximum security.

Questions about this item

How do I install the tape into the included dispenser without it falling back?

Thread the 1.88 inch roll onto the dispenser's small rolling shaft; the shaft locks the roll in place so the tape cannot fall back during use.

When will the adhesive on this 2.4 mil BOPP tape start to degrade and need replacement?

The clear acrylic adhesive will not yellow and retains its clarity over long periods, so the tape remains effective for long-term storage without a set replacement schedule.

At what box weight does this 1.88 inch wide tape reach its holding limit under sustained shipping stress?

The tape is rated for boxes weighing up to 80 pounds; heavier loads exceed its high-tensile BOPP strength and risk seal failure.
