24" x 36" platform truck

The Rubbermaid Commercial platform truck measures 24 inches by 36 inches and supports a 500 lb load capacity. Its Duramold resin-metal composite frame provides a high strength-to-weight ratio. Two fixed and two swivel 5-inch TPR casters allow controlled steering. A textured deck surface helps protect cargo from sliding damage.

Warehouse staff moving bulk items

This truck suits workers who need to transport large, heavy loads across flat floors in warehouses, retail backrooms or workshops. The molded tie-down slots and handle-mounted retainer clips keep items secure during transit. Buyers who need vertical storage, drawer organisation or powered lift assistance should look at other equipment types.

Open floor environments with smooth surfaces

The four-caster layout rolls best on level concrete, epoxy or tile, so the surrounding area should provide clear, unobstructed aisles. Its lightweight composite construction frees up payload capacity compared with heavier steel frames. No assembly hardware or specialised tools are required to put the truck into service.

Questions about this item

What floor space is needed to manoeuvre the 24 by 36 inch deck?

The platform measures 24 inches wide by 36 inches long, so allow at least that footprint plus turning room for the two swivel casters.

Will the two 5 inch TPR fixed casters and two 5 inch TPR swivel casters roll smoothly on my existing epoxy-coated concrete?

Yes, the thermoplastic rubber wheels are designed for hard floors and provide quiet, non-marking movement on epoxy surfaces.

How can I confirm the 500 lb capacity is holding after I load the truck?

The deck remains level, the casters rotate freely without binding, and the molded-in tie-down slots show no deformation when the load is secured.
