Tri-band Wi-Fi 7 access point reaching 9.3 Gbps with BeamFlex+ adaptive antennas and a 5 GbE uplink
Configuration 1x1/2.5/5GbE, 1x1GbE, Wi-Fi 7
The RUCKUS R670 is a tri-band indoor access point built for dense enterprise environments that need Wi-Fi 7 performance. It supports up to 36 SSIDs and 6 spatial streams across 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands. BeamFlex+ adaptive antennas create over 4,000 unique patterns per band to optimise coverage. A 5 GbE uplink removes the wired bottleneck for high-throughput wireless traffic.
Under continuous multi-client load the BeamFlex+ array steers energy toward active devices and rejects interference on each band. Tri-band 2x2 SU-MIMO and MU-MIMO serve simultaneous streams without collapsing to single-user throughput. The 5 GbE port sustains multi-gigabit backhaul so the radio chain is not starved during peak aggregate demand. TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot maintain platform integrity during extended operation.
The single specification that determines fit is the 1/2.5/5 GbE uplink port. Without a multi-gigabit wired link the 9.3 Gbps combined wireless rate cannot leave the access point. Buyers whose switch infrastructure stops at 1 GbE will not realise the rated capacity and should plan a uplink upgrade before deployment.
