A 3.3 ft passive copper 40GBase direct attach cable with QSFP+ connectors on both ends
This Ruckus Wireless passive copper cable carries 40GBase traffic between two QSFP+ ports over a 3.3 ft run. It suits data-centre racks, campus switches or storage arrays that need a short, low-latency interconnect without active optics.
The cable draws no external power and adds no heat, so it fits into dense patch panels where power budget and airflow are tight. Its fixed 3.3 ft length keeps cable management simple for adjacent ports or neighbouring rack units.
When the link distance stays within a single rack or adjacent cabinets, this passive assembly removes the cost and power draw of transceivers and fibre patch cords. It is not suited for runs longer than the supplied length or for links that require optical isolation.

The cable is specified for 40GBase operation, providing up to 40 Gbps throughput between compatible QSFP+ ports.
As a passive copper cable it draws no external power and produces negligible heat, so noise and thermal load are effectively zero.
Both ends use QSFP+ connectors, so each device needs an available QSFP+ port to accept the cable.
