PoE Injector for Ruckus Wireless

This new Ruckus Wireless PoE injector delivers power over Ethernet at 10/100/1000 Mbps speeds. It includes a US power adapter for direct connection to mains supply. The unit enables network devices to receive both data and power through a single cable run. It functions as a spare or replacement power-sourcing accessory for compatible equipment.

Ideal for extending power to access points

Installers powering Ruckus access points or other PoE-capable devices without nearby outlets will find this injector straightforward. Buyers who need multi-port power distribution or higher wattage budgets for multiple devices should look at alternative solutions. Users requiring non-US plug types or passive PoE standards will need different hardware. The single-port design limits use to one powered device per injector.

Questions about this item

Does this PoE injector need a US-style power outlet to operate?

The included power adapter uses a US plug, so a compatible mains socket or travel adapter is required.

Will this injector pass 10/100/1000 Mbps data to a legacy 100 Mbps access point?

Yes, the Gigabit Ethernet ports auto-negotiate down to 100 Mbps, so older 10/100 devices work without configuration.
