  • Connect external graphics cards via 8x to 16x riser
  • Flexible 15 cm cable fits tight chassis spaces
  • Supports GPU mining rigs with secure PCIe extension
  • Extends slot reach without signal degradation

15 cm 8x to 16x riser cable

This 15 cm flexible extender connects an 8x PCI Express slot to a 16x graphics card. It provides a short internal link for external GPU enclosures or mining rigs where space is limited. The cable carries the electrical signals between the motherboard and the add-in card.

Fits tight builds needing a short 8x to 16x link

Builders who need a longer cable run or a different slot configuration should look at other options. This product does not suit systems requiring a 1x or 4x source connector. It is also not intended for high-speed storage adapters or server backplanes.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the 8x to 16x riser is functioning correctly after connecting my graphics card?

The system should detect the GPU at full 16x link width in the BIOS or GPU-Z, and the card must run stable under load without artefacts or throttling.

What does the 15 cm cable kit include and do I need any extra adapters for power?

The package contains only the 15 cm flexible PCIe 8x-to-16x riser board and cable; a separate PCIe power cable from your PSU is required for the graphics card.
