Composite AV cable with RCA connectors for Sega Mega Drive 1, 180 cm length
This 180 cm composite AV cable connects a Sega Mega Drive 1 console to a display using RCA connectors. It carries both video and audio signals through a single lead. The cable is brand new and built with PVC insulation. It replaces a lost or damaged original cable for the same console.
The cable serves as a direct replacement when the factory composite lead is lost, frayed or no longer produces a clean picture. The jump is worth it when the existing cable shows visible damage, intermittent colour or audio drop-outs. No modification to the console is required for installation.
This lead suits anyone who wants to restore composite output on a Mega Drive 1 without adapters. Buyers who need RGB or SCART output should look at something else, as this cable only provides composite RCA connections. It also does not fit later Mega Drive revisions that use a different AV port.

The cable plugs into the standard AV output on the rear of the Sega Mega Drive 1 and uses a SCART connector for the display side.
Align the rectangular AV plug with the console's rear socket and press straight in until fully seated; forcing it at an angle can bend the internal pins.
Replace the cable if you see persistent colour bleed, rolling lines, or audio buzz that remains after cleaning the RCA and SCART contacts.
