Square 230 W 20 V power cable

This internal power cable delivers 230 W at 20 V and 11.5 A through a square connector. It is built for Lenovo Y7000P, W541, P50, P51, P70 and P71 models that require the square tip. The 1.5 m length suits internal routing in compatible laptops.

Straightforward replacement install

Disconnect the battery before fitting the cable to avoid a short circuit. Route the lead away from fan blades and sharp chassis edges to prevent insulation damage. The square plug seats in one orientation only; forcing it bends the pins. Verify the laptop charges after reassembly. Buyers needing a round-tip connector or a higher wattage rating cannot use this cable.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the 230W square connector is delivering 20V at 11.5A after installation?

The laptop should power on and charge normally without adapter warnings; a multimeter on the barrel can verify 20V output under load.

What comes in the box and do I need a separate AC brick for the Lenovo Y7000P?

The package contains only the 1.5M internal power cable with square connector; the 230W AC adapter itself must be supplied separately.
