This injector adds Power over Ethernet to four camera feeds from a single DC source. Check switch ports and DC supply voltage

Verify that your network switch or router provides four free RJ-45 ports for the data connections. Confirm the external power supply delivers between 12 V and 48 V and can supply up to 3 A total current. Each LAN+Power output uses pins 4/5 and 7/8 for power while pins 1/2 and 3/6 carry 10/100 Mbps data. The DC jack measures 2.1 mm by 5.5 mm.

Thermals noise and power draw

The plastic enclosure operates from 0 °C to 50 °C with no fan, so it runs silently in normal use. Power consumption depends on the connected devices, with a maximum combined output of 3 A across the four ports. No active cooling is required and the unit produces no audible noise. Storage temperature range extends from -40 °C to 70 °C.
