Converts 48V PoE to 12V DC for non-PoE IP cameras and wireless APs over 100m
This active POE splitter converts a 48V POE input into a 12V DC output while passing 10/100M data through a single cable. It follows the 802.3af/at standard and accepts an input range of 38-60V. The unit delivers up to 2A at 12V and supports transmission distances up to 100m. A pure copper core helps maintain signal quality over long runs.
Installers adding IP cameras, wireless access points or CCTV gear that lack native POE support will find this adapter a simple plug-and-play solution. The ABS housing is waterproof and rated for -10°C to 60°C operation. Buyers who need gigabit data rates or higher output wattage should look at alternative equipment. It is not intended for devices requiring voltages other than 12V.
Connect the splitter between the POE switch or injector and the target device using standard Ethernet cabling. The 100MHz bandwidth handles 10/100M traffic without additional configuration. The compact inline design adds minimal bulk inside conduit or junction boxes. No external power supply is required, freeing up a mains socket at the camera location.

The splitter accepts DC 38-60V input, so your PoE source must supply voltage within that range.
It passes data at 10/100M speeds, so a Gigabit link will negotiate down to 100 Mbps across the splitter.
Measure the DC output with a multimeter; it should read 12 V when the PoE input is active and the camera is drawing 1-2A.
