Connects power inside HP ProLiant DL180 G6 servers using part numbers 507247-001 and 490448-001
This replacement heatsink fits the Proliant DL180 G6 Gen6 server and uses part numbers 507247-001 and 490448-001. It is a direct swap for the original CPU cooling assembly in that chassis.
Technicians servicing other Proliant generations or different server brands cannot use this part. Buyers needing a complete cooling kit with fans or mounting hardware for another platform should look elsewhere.
Measured against everything we stock in Internal PSU & Riser Cables, at today’s prices. Recalculated every night.

Remove the old CPU cooler, clean the processor surface, apply thermal paste, align the 507247-001 mounting holes with the board brackets, and press down until the retention clips click.
Replace the 490448-001 if the server throttles under load, fan noise rises sharply, or the fins show corrosion or physical damage.
