603-6234 825-6476-A Airport Extreme card

This wireless network card fits Apple A1026 and A1029 Airport Extreme slots. It restores 54 Mbit/s Wi-Fi to compatible legacy Mac systems. The part replaces the original AirPort module when the factory card has failed or is missing.

Practical limits of the 54 Mbit/s interface

The 54 Mbit/s ceiling caps throughput well below modern broadband speeds. It will not support WPA3 encryption or 5 GHz networks. Buyers who need current wireless standards should look elsewhere.
