Heatsink for BL460c Gen9 CPU2

This small heatsink carries part numbers 777686-001 and 740346-001 and is built for the second CPU socket in an HPE BL460c Generation 9 server blade. It mounts directly onto the processor heat spreader to move heat into the blade's shared airflow path. The unit is supplied new and matches the original equipment specification. It replaces the thermal solution for the standard CPU2 configuration in this platform.

For maintainers of BL460c Gen9 hardware

Technicians restoring or servicing a BL460c Gen9 blade with a populated second socket will find the correct fit here. The part is specific to the CPU2 location and will not suit the primary CPU socket or other blade models. Buyers needing a heatsink for the first processor, a different server generation, or a tower chassis should look at something else.
