Compatible heatsink for R530 servers

This small heatsink carries part numbers 8XH97 and 08XH97 and is built for the R530 and R530XD platforms. It arrives new with thermal grease included in the single-unit package.

Verify socket and chassis clearance

Confirm the processor socket matches the R530 specification before ordering. Check that the chassis airflow path and mounting holes align with this heatsink design. Ensure the included grease is applied correctly during installation.

Passive cooling with server airflow

The unit relies on forced air from the server fans rather than an integrated fan. Thermal performance depends on the system fan profile and case ventilation. Power draw is limited to the processor itself as the heatsink adds no electrical load.
