90° 3.5 mm TRS jack cable

A 50 cm right-angle stereo cable with gold-plated 3.5 mm male and female connectors. The compact 90° plug fits tight spaces behind desks, racks or instrument panels where a straight jack would foul adjacent ports or cables.

Upgrades from straight 3.5 mm patch leads

Replaces a standard straight connector when clearance behind the socket is limited. The right-angle design is worth it whenever a straight plug would press against a wall, rack rail or neighbouring cable and risk damage or signal loss.

Check your socket orientation and device spacing

Verify that the 3.5 mm TRS jack on your source and destination equipment accepts a right-angle plug without blocking adjacent ports. Confirm the 50 cm length spans the gap between devices without tension.

Questions about this item

What clearance does the 90-degree 3.5 mm TRS plug need behind the jack?

The right-angle body lets the cable run parallel to the panel; allow enough depth for the moulded plug housing so the cable does not press against the chassis.

Which way should the 90-degree 3.5 mm plug be oriented when inserting it into a front-panel audio header?

Align the keyed tip-ring-sleeve sections with the jack, then push straight in until the metal shell seats fully; do not twist the angled housing or the internal contacts can bend.

When should the gold-plated 3.5 mm TRS connectors be cleaned or the 50 cm cable replaced?

Clean the gold tips with a dry lint-free cloth if audio crackles appear; replace the cable if the right-angle strain relief splits or the conductors break near the moulded ends.
