Bracket for Phrozen Sonic Resin Printers

This ABS bracket mounts to the thumbscrew thread of a Phrozen Sonic Mini or similar 5.5-inch LCD printer. It holds the build plate after printing so uncured resin drips back into the vat. The part is moulded in black ABS and ships as a single piece without retail packaging.

Drip Stand Behaviour During Use

Once the print finishes, the platform rises and the build plate hooks onto the stand. Gravity pulls excess resin through the plate and into the vat while the printer lid can remain closed. The bracket stays fixed to the vat mount, so no re-alignment is needed between prints.

Thermals Noise and Power

The bracket contains no electronics, fans or moving parts. It adds no heat, draws no power and makes no sound during operation. Ambient temperature inside the printer enclosure is unaffected by its presence.

You need a Phrozen Sonic Mini or another 5.5 inch LCD printer whose resin vat is secured by a thumbscrew on the side where the bracket mounts.

Will the bracket interfere with the build plate on my older 5.5 inch LCD printer when I hook the plate for dripping?

The instructions state the drip stand must not touch the build plate during printing; after the print finishes you raise the platform, remove the plate and hook it so resin drips back into the vat.
