Converts a battery terminal into a 12 V socket delivering up to 10 A with a 0.5 m lead
This cable connects a 12 V car battery terminal to a standard cigarette-lighter socket using a 0.5 m lead. It suits campers, off-road drivers or anyone powering a 12 V pump, compressor or charger directly from the battery posts.
The adaptor is rated for 10 A continuous output and 120 W at 12 V, while the clamps themselves accept up to 50 A. The half-metre wire length restricts placement to positions close to the battery, so devices must sit nearby.
Verify that your battery posts fit an 80 mm fish-clamp jaw and that the socket aperture of 21 mm matches your plug. The red clamp marks positive and the black clamp negative; reverse polarity will damage connected equipment. Ensure the 12 V system voltage matches the adaptor’s input and output rating.

No published specifications for this item yet.
The cable is 0.5 m long; choose this length if your battery terminals sit close to the device you are powering.
At 12 V the circuit can deliver up to 120 W, so a 12 V pump drawing 10 A or less will run without overloading the adaptor.
The socket has a 21 mm aperture and 37 mm total length, matching the common 12 V accessory plug size used on most car chargers and camping pumps.
