GBA SP Hinge Repair Set

This package contains two replacement hinge spindles designed for the Game Boy Advance SP. The parts are made from plastic and metal to restore the screen's rotating action. They are brand new components sourced for the original handheld console.

For GBA SP owners with loose screens

The hinges suit anyone repairing a worn or snapped joint on this specific model. They do not fit the original Game Boy Advance or the Game Boy Micro. Buyers needing additional shell parts or specialised tools should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will these replacement hinges fit the original Game Boy Advance SP shell I already own?

Yes, the hinges are made specifically for the GBA SP model and are designed to replace the original rotating shaft spindle inside that shell.

How can I confirm the hinges are installed correctly once I reassemble the console?

The screen should open smoothly to a firm click at the usual angles, hold its position without wobble, and close flush with the base when folded.
