450 watt server power supply with 24-pin and 8-pin connectors for desktop or server use

  • 450W maximum output powers demanding server builds
  • 100-240V input range suits worldwide mains voltage
  • 24-pin plus 8-pin connectors fit standard server boards
  • passive PFC design keeps internal circuitry simple
  • pulled from working 1600SC server at 95% condition

Server power supply for desktop and rack use

This 450 W unit delivers 12 V through a fixed 24-pin and 8-pin connector set. It fits desktop and server applications that accept the DPS-450DB C part number. The non-modular cable layout keeps installation simple for compatible chassis.

Passive PFC limits input current shaping

Passive power factor correction means the supply draws current in a less linear way than active designs. On 100 V to 240 V mains this can increase harmonic distortion and reduce efficiency at low loads. Builders should verify that their electrical environment tolerates these characteristics.

450 W maximum output decides suitability

The 450 W peak rating is the single figure that determines whether this unit can power a given configuration. Buyers who need more headroom for multiple GPUs or dense drive arrays must select a higher-rated supply instead.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 24-pin or 8-pin version for my motherboard?

This unit includes both a 24-pin and an 8-pin connector on the same cable harness.

What does the 450 W rating mean once the supply is installed?

It is the maximum continuous output the DPS-450DB C can deliver to the system under load.

Does the passive PFC design cap the input voltage range?

The supply accepts 100 V to 240 V AC input, so it works worldwide without a voltage switch.
