A heatsink fan compatible with Precision T5600, T7600, T7810 and T7910 workstations

  • Genuine Dell heatsink keeps Precision T5600 T7600 T7810 T7910 CPUs cool
  • Direct-fit part number 6G1DT installs without adapters or modifications
  • Small-form heatsink suits space-constrained workstation chassis
  • Used but tested working so it performs like a new cooler
  • Designed for Precision T7810 and T7910 tower workstations

Direct replacement heatsink for Precision towers

This small heatsink carries part number 6G1DT and fits Dell Precision T5600, T7600, T7810 and T7910 workstations. It mounts directly to the existing CPU cooler bracket without adapters. The unit arrives new and ready to install.

Compact aluminium fin stack with integrated fan

The low-profile design clears standard memory slots and PCIe cards in the supported chassis. A four-pin PWM connector plugs into the motherboard header for automatic speed control. No extra cables or mounting hardware are required.

Swaps a worn or noisy factory cooler

The part restores original thermal performance when the original heatsink fan fails or the fins clog with dust. It is not suited for overclocked CPUs or dual-socket configurations that demand higher airflow. Builders needing greater cooling capacity should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Which Dell Precision workstations does the 6G1DT heatsink fit?

The 6G1DT heatsink is compatible with the T5600, T7600, T7810 and T7910 models.

What physical clearance does the small heatsink require inside the chassis?

As a small heatsink it fits the standard CPU socket zone in the supported Precision towers without needing extra bracket space.

How is the heatsink mounted and what step is often missed?

Align the captive screws with the motherboard mounting holes, press evenly, then tighten diagonally; forgetting to remove the protective film from the thermal pad is the common error.
