Replacement infrared remote control for compatible ARC452A-series air conditioners, no programming required, operates on two AAA batteries

  • Ready-to-use replacement for ARC452A series air conditioners
  • No programming needed — insert two AAA batteries and operate
  • Covers every function of the original remote control
  • Compact 19 cm handset weighing approximately 97 g
  • CE certified with IR wireless communication

Replacement Remote for ARC452A Series

This infrared remote replaces the original handset for ARC452A, ARC452A4, ARC452A10 and ARC452A12 air conditioners. No programming is required; insert two AAA batteries and it covers every function of the original unit. The CE-certified controller is intended for homeowners who need a direct substitute without setup hassle.

Battery Operation and Range Limits

The handset runs on two AAA cells, which are not supplied in the package. Infrared transmission requires line-of-sight to the indoor unit, so control stops working when walls or furniture block the beam. Users who want smartphone integration or long-range operation will find this model does not support app connectivity or radio-frequency signals.

Plastic Build and Handheld Ergonomics

The ABS shell measures roughly 19 by 6 by 2 centimetres and weighs about 97 grams, making it light enough for one-handed use. Keys are laid out in a simple grid with tactile response, and the package includes a printed manual for reference. Buyers who need backlit buttons, a wall-mount cradle or a ruggedised casing should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will this B2RD4NB1401868 remote work with my existing ARC452A10 air-conditioner unit?

Yes — the remote is compatible with ARC452A, ARC452A4, ARC452A10 and ARC452A12 models and uses IR communication, so it controls the unit without any programming.

How can I confirm the remote is functioning correctly after inserting the batteries?

Point the remote at the air conditioner and press any mode or temperature key; the unit should respond immediately because the remote covers all original functions and needs no setup beyond fitting two AAA cells.

What comes in the box and what must I supply myself?

The package includes one remote control (approx 19 x 6 x 2 cm, 97 g) and one manual; you must provide two AAA batteries, which are not included.
