  • ABS construction for comfortable grip and durable keys
  • CE certified for safety compliance
  • Supports both cooling and heating functions

Replacement Air Conditioner Remote

This infrared remote control replaces the original handset for compatible air-conditioning units. It requires two AAA batteries, which are not supplied, and works without any programming or pairing steps. The ABS plastic casing provides a comfortable grip and responsive buttons for everyday operation.

Suits owners of listed models only

Buyers who need a remote for a different air-conditioner brand or a universal controller should look elsewhere. The handset does not support smart-home integration, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or app-based control, so installers wanting networked automation cannot use it.

Infrared communication protocol

The remote transmits commands via IR, so line-of-sight to the indoor unit is required for reliable operation. No radio-frequency or wired connection options are available on this device.

Questions about this item

Does this remote need a direct line of sight to the air-conditioner unit?

Yes, it uses IR wireless communication so the remote must point at the unit's receiver with no obstruction.

What is the first step after unpacking the remote before it will control the air conditioner?

Insert two AAA batteries into the battery compartment; the remote has no programming or pairing step.

How often will the two AAA batteries need replacing under normal use?

Typical IR remotes last several months to a year on a fresh pair of AAA cells; replace them when the range drops or the display dims.
