Passive PoE injector and splitter kit

This two-piece kit converts a non-PoE device into a PoE-enabled one using passive power injection. The injector combines an RJ45 male connector with a 5.5 × 2.1 mm DC power input into an RJ45 female port. The splitter separates an RJ45 female input into an RJ45 male output and a matching DC power output.

Installers running IP cameras

Suited for technicians who need to deliver 5 V, 12 V, 24 V or 48 V over Ethernet up to 30–40 metres without a PoE switch. Not for buyers who require active PoE negotiation or standards-based power classification. Also unsuitable for runs beyond the stated distance or for devices drawing more current than the thin conductors can safely carry.

18 cm pigtail length with fixed 4,5/7,8 power pins

Each pigtail measures 18 cm (6.9 in) and uses pins 4,5 for positive and 7,8 for negative voltage. The short, fixed length dictates placement near the powered device or the source; longer reaches need a separate Ethernet patch cord. Voltage at the far end equals the input voltage because the kit is purely passive.
