SATA hard-drive connector cable for ProBook 640 645 650 655 G1 laptops
This SATA connector cable fits HP ProBook 640, 645, 650 and 655 G1 laptops. It replaces the original 6017B0362201 part when the hard-drive ribbon is damaged or missing. The cable carries both data and power to a 2.5-inch SATA drive.
Installing this ribbon restores the internal SATA link so the laptop recognises the hard drive again. No extra brackets, screws or software are included; the part is a direct plug-in replacement for the factory cable.
Measured against everything we stock in Internal PSU & Riser Cables, at today’s prices. Recalculated every night.

No published specifications for this item yet.
The cable is a passive component with no moving parts; it only needs replacement if the connector pins bend, the ribbon tears, or intermittent drive detection appears.
The cable itself has no active limit; the first constraint under sustained use will be the drive's thermal throttling or the laptop's SATA controller speed, not the cable.
