Product Identity

The Ruth's sister Type C Male to Lenovo Square Socket Power Adapter Plug is an internal power cable that converts a USB-C power source to the proprietary square connector used by compatible Lenovo laptops. It is intended for technicians and users who need to power or test those machines from a PD-capable charger or test bench.

Build and Connectors

The adapter measures approximately 5.1 by 2 by 1 centimetres and is moulded from premium plastic for thermal performance. A Type-C male plug serves as the input, while the large square socket provides output to the laptop; the design prevents reverse insertion.

Practical Limits

The unit accepts an input voltage range of 10.5 to 32 volts and delivers up to 45 watts across five fixed profiles: 5 volts at 3 amps, 9 volts at 3 amps, 12 volts at 2 amps, 15 volts at 2 amps, and 20 volts at 2.25 amps. It cannot charge phones and only works with computers that support Power Delivery on their USB-C port.
