Bidirectional 3-port HDMI 2.0 switch

The RUUPRRN unit lets two sources share one display or one source feed two displays, though only one output is active at a time. It handles 4K at 60 Hz and passes 36-bit HDR and 3D signals. Compatible with PCs, consoles and streaming sticks.

Fits between sources and a single screen

Connect two devices such as a console and a PC to the three HDMI ports and toggle between them without replugging cables. Alternatively, route one source to either of two monitors for a simple extended-desktop setup. No external power supply is required.

Manual button selects the active path

A push button on the enclosure switches the signal route instantly. The package includes the switch unit only; HDMI cables are sold separately. For reliable 4K 60 Hz performance, use certified HDMI 2.0 cables no longer than three metres total.

Questions about this item

Will the HDMI 2.0 bandwidth limit 4K 60 Hz HDR after hours of gaming?

The switch passes HDMI 2.0 signals up to 4K@60Hz with 36-bit HDR, so sustained use stays within the same spec ceiling.

Does the box get hot or draw extra power when left on all day?

It is a passive bidirectional switch with no external power supply, so it generates negligible heat and adds no measurable draw.

What cables do I need before this works with my PC and monitor?

You must supply three standard HDMI 2.0 cables, each no longer than 2.2 metres, to connect two sources and one display.
