Rycote INV-BH suspension for 19-34mm microphones

The Rycote INV-BH InVision Suspension holds microphones with diameters from 19 to 34mm and lengths up to 50cm. It supports a maximum weight of 500 grams. The system uses a rigid construction without elasticated parts so it never sags or requires rethreading. It is built for boom mounting via an integrated 3/8" female adaptor.

Fixed suspension design without basket windshield

This model does not accept a basket or blimp windshield, limiting wind protection to the microphone's own foam or a separate slip-on cover. The lack of elastic bands removes the risk of stretching over time but also means the unit cannot be adapted to a traditional suspension basket. Isolation from camera handling noise is improved compared with standard on-camera mounts.

Check microphone diameter.

Verify that your microphone fits the 19 to 34mm diameter range and does not exceed 50cm in length or 500 grams in weight. Ensure your boom pole or stand provides a 3/8" male thread to match the integrated adaptor. Buyers who need a full basket windshield for high-wind outdoor work cannot use this suspension.
