Adds 3.5 mm headphone and microphone ports to a USB computer with 16-bit, 44.1/48 kHz audio
The Sabrent AU-EMCB converts a USB type A port into separate 3.5 mm stereo output and microphone input jacks. It lets you connect a standard PC headset to a Mac or Windows computer without installing drivers.
The adapter draws power from the USB 2.0 connection and includes a two-foot extension cable for flexible placement. It works with Windows 11, 10, 8, 7, Vista, XP and Mac OS 8.6 or later, so it fits older and newer systems alike.
Audio is captured and played back at 48 kHz or 44.1 kHz sampling rates with 16-bit resolution. The aluminum housing resists wear during daily plug-in use, and the USB 2.0 high-speed link maintains stable throughput for long sessions.
