SKU CH-SD30-9NWM1 MPN USB-USS4

A USB 2.0 KVM switch lets four computers share up to four peripherals with one-button switching and LED indicators at 480 Mbps

  • Share four computers with one USB device set
  • Push-button switching between connected computers
  • Expand sharing capacity by adding USB hubs
  • USB 2.0 compliant with 480Mbps data rates
  • Blue LED indicators show active computer connection

USB 2.0 sharing switch for four computers

The Sabrent USB-USS4 lets four PCs share one set of USB peripherals over a single USB 2.0 connection. No drivers are required for Windows XP or later and Mac OS 8.6 or later. Push-button switching and blue LEDs show the active computer at a glance. A USB hub can be added downstream to expand the number of shared devices.

Suited to single-user multi-PC desks.

Ideal for a workstation where one keyboard, mouse and printer serve several computers. It does not switch video signals, so each PC still needs its own monitor. It also does not handle audio streams, so speakers or headsets must be connected separately. Environments that require simultaneous access to the same peripheral from multiple PCs should consider a different topology.

USB 2.0 at 480 Mbps sets the speed limit

The upstream and downstream ports operate at USB 2.0 with a maximum throughput of 480 Mbps. High-bandwidth devices such as external SSDs or 4K webcams will be constrained by this ceiling. If your workflow demands faster transfers, a switch based on a newer USB standard is required.
