Two-Piece Runner Set for Kitchen Floors

This Safavieh Farmhouse set includes two polyester runner rugs measuring 17 by 30 inches and 17 by 47 inches. The black-and-white vintage print suits farmhouse-style kitchens, laundry rooms or entryways. Buyers who need a single large area rug or a non-runner shape will not find that here.

Washable Polyester With Non-Slip Backing

Each rug is machine-made from 100 percent polyester and is .20 inches thick. The material resists shrinking and fading, and the non-slip backing helps keep the mats in place on hard floors. The set weighs 1.98 pounds total and can be machine washed in cold water without bleach.

Fits Narrow Spaces and Absorbs Spills

The 17-inch width suits standard kitchen sink runs and galley layouts. Super-absorbent fibers soak up water splashes at the sink or stove. The pair covers two separate zones without needing a custom-cut runner. Rooms wider than 17 inches will need additional floor covering.

Questions about this item

How do I lay the 17x30 and 17x47 inch runners so the non-slip backing actually grips?

Unroll each piece on a clean, dry floor with the printed side up; press firmly from the centre outward to remove air pockets that stop the backing from holding.

When will the polyester fibres or the non-slip layer need replacing?

The 100% polyester pile resists shrinking and fading, so only heavy abrasion or a degraded rubber backing after years of washing will require a new set.

At what point does the .20 inch thickness stop absorbing spills at the sink?

The thin profile saturates quickly; once the fibres hold their limit, water pools on the surface instead of wicking away.
