Ganging Connector for Rumba Screens

This connector hinge links Safco Rumba Whiteboard Collaboration Screens together. It is designed for offices or classrooms that need to join multiple screens into a larger, configurable surface. The steel bracket mounts to the panel edge and permits each screen to pivot 90° in either direction.

Sustained Use and Pivot Durability

The steel construction and simple hinge mechanism are built for repeated repositioning without electronic components that could degrade. No moving parts require lubrication, and the GREENGUARD certification indicates low chemical emissions during continuous indoor use. The fixed dimensions of 0.5" width, 1" depth and 4.25" height remain stable over time.

Compatibility Limited to Rumba Screens

This accessory fits only the Safco Rumba Whiteboard Collaboration Screen. Buyers who need to connect a different brand or model of whiteboard will find the mounting geometry incompatible. The connector set is sold as a single unit, so multiple hinges must be ordered for longer screen runs.

Questions about this item

Does the 0.5" wide steel hinge add noticeable weight or heat when the Rumba screen runs all day?

The steel connector hinge weighs only a fraction of the screen and produces no heat, so it has no impact on noise, temperature or power draw during continuous use.

What existing hardware is required before this ganging connector can be installed?

You must already own a Safco Rumba Whiteboard Collaboration Screen, because the hinge is designed exclusively to join two of those screens together.

Will the 90° pivot action still align correctly if my current Rumba screen is an earlier production run?

Yes — the connector hinge is built to the same mounting specifications for all Rumba screens, so older units pivot and align identically to newer ones.
