Steel wall pockets for letter filing

The Safco 3172BL steel wall pockets provide three letter-size compartments in a black finish. They mount vertically to keep active documents visible and within reach. Offices and home workspaces use them to reduce desktop clutter without sacrificing floor space.

Replaces loose stacks and single trays

This unit replaces scattered paper piles or single pocket organisers that overflow quickly. The three compartments let you sort by priority, project or department in one step. The jump is worth it when incoming mail, forms or reference sheets exceed the capacity of a single tray.

Mounts with standard hardware

Installation uses common wall fasteners suited to the mounting surface. The metal body accepts screws or anchors without bending. What usually goes wrong is attaching to drywall without proper anchors, which can pull loose under the weight of full pockets.

Questions about this item

What are the exact width and depth measurements for the 3172BL wall file so I can check if it fits my wall space?

The unit is 12 inches wide and 3 1/4 inches deep, so measure your available wall area against those dimensions before ordering.

How do I mount the Safco 3172BL securely, and what is the common mistake to avoid?

Use screws rated for your wall type and drive them into studs; the frequent error is relying on drywall anchors alone, which can pull out under the weight of filled pockets.

Will the metal finish on the 3172BL need any upkeep or replacement parts over time?

The powder-coated steel resists rust and scratches; no routine maintenance is required beyond occasional dusting, and there are no consumable components to replace.
