Wire mail cart with 600 lb capacity

The Safco 5236GR is a metallic-gray wire mail cart rated for loads up to 600 lbs. It provides open shelves for sorting and moving letters, parcels or supplies in a busy mailroom. Four casters allow smooth travel across hard floors and low-pile carpet.

Suited for high-volume mailrooms

This cart suits facilities that move heavy bundles of mail or inter-office packages several times a day. It is less appropriate for environments that need enclosed security, locking drawers or a compact footprint for narrow corridors.

600 lb load rating

The 600 lb capacity is the single figure that determines whether the cart can handle your peak daily volume. Verify your heaviest combined load against this limit before purchasing.

Questions about this item

Does the 5236GR wire mail cart arrive fully assembled or are tools required?

The cart ships as a single unit with no separate hardware listed, so no extra parts or tools are needed to start using it.

The supplier title lists 18-3/4w x 39d x 38-1/2h while the specs show 12 x 14 x 10 — which set matches the actual cart?

The larger figures (18-3/4" wide, 39" deep, 38-1/2" high) describe the mail cart itself; the smaller numbers appear to be a packaging reference.

Will the 600 lb capacity hold up when the cart is loaded and moved across a typical office floor?

The 600 lb rating is the manufacturer's stated load limit for the 5236GR; distribute weight evenly and avoid sudden impacts to stay within that figure.
