12-Section Desktop Literature Organizer

The Safco 9420GR provides twelve letter-size compartments on a desktop footprint. Ten hardboard shelves form each slot at nine inches wide, eleven and a half inches deep and two and three-eighths inches high. A solid fiberboard back and laminate finish add rigidity. Each shelf supports up to fifteen pounds of material.

Suits mailrooms and offices sorting daily

Adjustable or removable shelves let users reconfigure the layout for thicker folders or mixed media. The unit ships fully assembled so it is ready to use immediately. Buyers who need lockable doors, wall-mount brackets or a taller floor-standing sorter should consider a different model.

Steady load across all compartments

Hardboard shelves distribute weight evenly when every section holds the rated fifteen pounds. The fiberboard back resists bowing during prolonged, full-capacity use. Laminate surfaces withstand repeated sliding of paper and folders without delaminating.

Questions about this item

What desktop surface area do I need to place the 16.1-inch-high organizer?

The unit measures 19 5/8 inches wide by 11 7/8 inches deep, so allow at least that footprint on a level desk or table.

Will the 10 hardboard shelves hold the same 15 lb per compartment if I keep my existing letter-size files?

Yes, each of the twelve 9-by-11-1/2-by-2-3/8-inch compartments is rated for 15 lb, matching standard letter documents.

How can I verify the shelves are seated correctly after assembly?

All ten shelves should sit flush in their slots, creating twelve even compartments with no gaps or wobble when lightly pressed.
