Green polycarbonate exit button

The Safety Technology International SS2105XT-EN is a green polycarbonate exit push button designed for door hardware installations. It features a momentary mushroom-type switch action with a red 1-1/2 inch button diameter and a painted finish. The unit operates on 125 or 250V AC and 30V DC input voltage.

Installers needing UL-listed momentary contact

This component suits installers requiring a UL and cUL listed momentary contact switch rated at 10A for 125 or 250V AC and 6A at 30V DC. It is not for buyers who need an event audit trail, an integrated keypad, or a cylinder lock mechanism. The operating temperature range spans -40 to 250 degrees F.

SPDT relay output for access control circuits

The button provides an SPDT relay output to integrate directly into access control or egress circuits. Its 2 37/64 inch depth, 4 7/8 inch height, and 3 1/4 inch width determine the mounting space required. The polycarbonate construction and painted finish handle the specified environmental range.

Questions about this item

What wiring must I already have for the 10A @ 125/250V AC rating?

You need a circuit rated for 125 or 250V AC that can supply up to 10A, plus a compatible SPDT relay load.

Will the polycarbonate housing and UL/cUL listing suit a legacy 30V DC control panel?

Yes, the switch is rated 6A @ 30V DC and carries UL and cUL listing for that voltage.

How do I confirm the momentary mushroom switch actuates correctly after wiring?

Press the red 1-1/2 in button; the SPDT relay should change state only while held and return when released.
