sakose C6BOOT-K Black Snagless RJ45 Boots 50-Pack

Snagless RJ45 boot 50-pack

These black snagless boots protect the locking tabs on RJ45 connectors during installation and removal. They fit standard Category 6 patch cables and prevent the tabs from catching on adjacent cables or panel openings. The pack contains fifty boots for wiring closets, patch panels or field terminations. Installers who terminate multiple runs will find the quantity convenient for large jobs.

Tab protection under repeated mating

The flexible boot shields the plastic latch each time the connector is inserted or released, reducing tab breakage that can cause intermittent links. By keeping the tab profile low, the boot also eases cable management in dense bundles where snagging is common. No lubricant or special tool is required; the boot slides on before crimping and stays in place through repeated connect and disconnect cycles.

Cable jacket diameter compatibility

Verify that the outer diameter of your Category 6 cable jacket matches the boot’s internal entry size before ordering. The boot is designed for typical solid or stranded patch cable dimensions; cables with unusually thick insulation or double jackets may not seat fully. Confirm the crimp connector body length allows the boot to cover the tab completely after termination.
